Default Options List

Does anyone have a list of the options that were available on X-Types (in the USA)? My car is pretty well equipped, but I've always wondered if there were any options that were available but were not installed on my car.

I wish I had the original window sticker...

Is that the US Monroney Sticker you mean?

There was a thread about these in XK8/XKR section:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...produce+window

Post by K.Westra (Keith) indicated Jaguar Dealer should be able to provide replacement as long as their records hadn't been purged.

I requested information on my car prior to buying it by sending Jaguar the VIN. This is what I received:

I can only send you details of the vehicle at the time of manufacture.
Given that the Jaguar was manufactured for the European market and we have no history of it from 2001 we cannot guarantee the specification remains the same.

Audio Remote Ice Controls
Audio & Cassette
Front Sliding Armrest
Rear Folding Armrest
Classic Style Seats
Touring Suspension
Space Saver Spare Wheel
X-10 (6.5" x 16") 10 Spoke Alloy Wheel
Air Conditioning
Front Fog Lamps
Electric Rear Windows
Leather Steering Wheel
Navigation System
Navigation Disc Europe
Cruise Control
Mirrors with Exterior Powerfold Function
Drvr=8 way Pass=8 way
70/30 Split Fold Down Rear Seat
Trip Computer with Message Centre
2001 Model Year

Trim Details

Dove
Platinum 1916
Bond grain Leather Seat
Leather Steering Wheel
Granite/Dove Facia
Nimbus Grey Headlining
Granite Carpet
Dove
Granite Seatbelts
Birds Eye Maple

I have no idea what are "Audio Remote Ice Controls" or "Drvr=8 way Pass=8 way". I'd imagine the first one is steering wheel audio and the second is the front electric seats. My car was apparently ordered as Classic, but with almost every SE-level option were selected.

I think a lot of the options are dealer installed at customers request. Having an 05 Sport im supprised it didn't come with Homelink, Nav, or premium sound system. But it's original owner was a company car for an executive So I'm sure they didn't really care

An interesting list of accessories for a non UK market.
I note the triangle shown needs sand put in the base. It is not the same (Hella brand ) shown stored in the Boot ( trunk ).
The locking wheel nuts are McGard not the original Jaguar ones that cause so many problems.

Correct
In Car Entertainment. with controls on the wheel.
They look look like JAGUAR VOICE ACTIVATION SYSTEM in the catalogue
My SE has has both driver and front passenger electric seat adjusters.
I think mine are actually 10 way as they have in addition a lumbar adjustment that pumps up the back rest.

I have fitted rear tread plates and Splash Guards ( mud flaps)

Mine is also likely an SE considering that I have the wood inserts on the doors, unlike the classic trim. Also my VIN indicates "high series" rather than "entry", however, in some of the official papers I got with the car it was listed as "classic". Prolly a misprint.

I've also got the splash guards fitted afterwards, and rear tread plates waiting for installation. I'm still trying to find a suitable & thin double-sided tape.

My local dealer ( not the supplying dealer ) used my VIN and accessed the Jaguar database. He produced the original specification of my car which included all the extras and even the serial numbers of each and every tyre.
Worth a try ?

I already did that, see the 4th post in this thread but I got no serial numbers or such. The info came straight from Jaguar so I'd imagine no further information is available anywhere on my car.

I've also decoded my VIN;
SAJAB51M31XC14670
SAJ = Jaguar
A = Rest of World (airbag spec)
B = All-Wheel Drive, Manual, Left-Hand Steering
51 = X-Type 4-door High Series
M = Emissions: ECS 12
3 = VIN check digit
1 = 2001
X = Halewood X-Type 2.5 V6
C14670 = Production Serial Number
