Default $400 to pull to dents out of the car??!!

Hey everyone. I have a dent in my driverside door not to noticable but I can see it[:'(]. Also there is a very small one in the front fender, both are from people opening there doors. I got a couple quotes to get them fixed today and the lowest was $400!! They all said once pulled the two panels had to be repainted, is this correct? Thanks

Its impossible to say without seeing the damage. At our bodyshop anybody wanting a price would have to bring the car to us or us go to them if itto assess how bad it is.
If the dents arent too bad (ie no creasing, chipped paintetc) and there is access to the back of the dent to "push" it out then it might not be that bad.
I am assuming that the damage must be worse than that though otherwise you might be able to remove the door card and wheel arch **** shieldtopush them outyourself.

It depends on the dent, when I first bought my X I had the dealer pull two dents out of the passenger side door, it took them 15 minutes. Small door dings should be no problem, but if its creased or chipped its gonna need more work...

That's a reasonable price if they're "breaking" the paint... i.e. sanding the pannel, filling the dents, and repainting it. However, there are ways of rolling dents out from the rear of the panel that do not break the paint, and run about $100.

Depending on how bad or big they are and as long as the paint is not cracked / chipped. What about buying a dent puller and doing oit yourself?
Get one on Ebay quite reasonably
