so today i was a running late and i decided to step on my kitty.....when i pressed down the paddle the moment the needle gets to 3k rpm, my kitty started acting up like no fuel was getting to her. so i lifted my foot from the paddle and pressed a little bit, the she went smooth. i was doing about 80mph, i tried once again at high speeds, still the samething. Usually that indicates a clogged fuel filter, as long as you aren't asking for too much fuel you're fine, then you ask for a lot and not enough makes it through. Hopefully that's it since it's an easy and inexpensive fix. Good luck.

Get the "criuse not available" message on the dash? It sounds like your car went into Limp Home Mode. Our cars are designed to retard timing at 3k RPM if the sensors are telling it that something isnt right. This is to prevent further engine damage.

Typically its something minor. Mine for example, is doing it right now because of a bad knock sensor. Yours could be, and is likely different. Usually limp mode is accompanied by a malfunction light. Get the trouble codes read and see what you've got
