Hello all would driving the car with out the plastic engine cover hurt the car in anyway?

I was just wondering?

My X308 and my S-Types have plastic covers - but if those covers were not mounted, it would no make a difference.
My X-Types do not have plastic covers, and I don't think they ever had plastic covers...

I think they would have had them originally wouldn't they or didn't they put them on in Australia ?

They did have them in Australia and it is a shame that too many removed them....
