Default 02' x type rearview mounting ring off

While trying to replace a broken off rearview mirror, the mounting ring come off the windshield. Any suggestions out there to adhering it back?

They make a special glue just for this purpose, you can find it at your local auto parts store, likely in the section with gasket makers and epoxy products.

usually, yes. I don't know if stronger is the word, but formulated to stick to glass is what makes it unique from run of the mill superglue.
