02' x type water pump replacement

Pretty easy shud take ne one less then an hour . Remove battery then release tension from the tensioner remove belt remove pump .

Default Are there any tricks to the gasket

such as any kinds of spray adhesive or anything?

The only seal you will need is the gasket that comes with the new pump. The removable pump is held to the waterpump housing by about 10 or 12 small (8mm?) bolts. After you remove these (and of course the belt/pulley), it will pry off of the housing. Clean the surface, and put the new one on.
