xtype04, if you look in some of the postings when you search on HIDs, you will find some pretty detailed postings on how to install HIDs. It isn't all that hard. The big thing is having to drill a hole (3/4" as I recall) in the back of the cover for the headlight so you can install the boot with the appropriate wires. From there, it is tapping into the factory wiring and making sure you get the positive headlight wire to the red wire of the ballast.

As for installing foglights on your car, that should be nothing more than getting the housings, bolting them in place and then pulling the plug down from under the bumper and plugging in the fog lights. Again, nothing super special about doing that.

The only thing I will tell you is doing both of these jobs, you may find it easier to do by pulling the front bumper cover off of the car so you have full access to everything. At a minimum, when upgrading the headlights, you will have to do that otherwise it is a royal PITA.

Removing the front bumper isn't that bad. All you need is a 10mm socket and a T-27 torx bit. Then there are like 15 fasteners that you need to remove. From there, the bumper cover comes right off. I've pulled the covers off of a few jags. Not that bad. Takes about 20 minutes or so to do.

Hey Thermo, I need to get to my fog lights too. When I went to get the lower cover off, the clips just spun on the inside. Any easy way to the the torx bolts out without cutting anything?

Sawing will leave so much scarring on the surrounding plastic, may I suggest simply grasping the of head the torx with a Vise-grip, and drilling out the center of the bolt with progressively larger drills until the head just "pops" off.

(Worked for me!)

Wear Safety Glasses!

(and don't use your best drillbits. Sharp ones, yes. But not the best ones in your toolbox, as the Torx hole will want to knock the flutes off the bit).

Thanks guy's.. I'll sift through the junk drawer as you suggest Bruce. If that doesn't work, I'll brake out the Dremel!

Default Torx bolts spin freely

Adding to a 6 year old question, lol
If those fender liner torx bolts just spin its because the clip is off the bumper cover is broken where the clip is attached, so the bolt, clip, and piece of bumper cover all spin together. But its not an issue involving drilling, just remove the other bolts and you will be fine.
