Default 04 X-type wagon - rear tail/brake light pigtails needed

Hi all, my 04 x-type wagon's rear tail light sockets are degraded to the point of barely holding the bulbs (driving/brake light sockets on both sides). Anyone know the number for replacement pigtails for a straight swap pls?

degraded tail light socket, this is the better of the two!

not sure if this helps

Barely retaining the bulb

I am sorry not to have an answer for you but I am curious about the damage. What do you think happened to the lamp socket? Was this wagon involved in an accident, by chance?

Seems the heat and cold cycle we have in Ontario between summer and winter has degraded the plastic holders, as similar on both sides

Plastic looks pretty cooked the closer it gets to the bulb stem, likely a car that spends quite a bit of time siting in traffic with brake applied.
We all like to think we can get in our cars and have freedom to drive carefree anywhere, but the reality is we can spend a lot of time in cars going nowhere fast!

You might have to look into some universal 380 P15 21w/5w holders and hopefully find some you can modify the lugs on to enable insertion into the tail light assembly. Ebay has a few options, but you local auto parts store might have some options too.

Hoping to revive this thread in case anyone else has had and solved the same problem.

Mine are also bad. I tried ordering generic from Amazon but they did not fit.

Markings on mine are CEMM (the maker?) and PA66 (the model number?).

I've seen similar threads on other brand forums and loads of people seem to end up in this predicament!

Has anyone found a source for replacements?

Thanks, Dell.

Has anyone found a US-based retail for these?

PA66 is the material. Nylon. Every bit of plastic in the car that is big enough has to have the material code molded in for recycling purposes.
