Even as a teenager, I wouldn't do it. The most I'd do is get some nice wheels, and dont let the ricers at your school influence you to do anything stupid to your car, like underbody lighting. Not only is it rediculous, it's obnoxious and unattractive for any car, let alone a friggin Jaguar!

When I was a teenager, I had a Honda Prelude. I remember people telling me about how to do all kinds of dumb **** to my car.."Stickers, a fart can, etc." Good thing I had an older brother to bring me to my senses. I did modify the car, but I did it right.

All the Daimler XJ40s came with the "blacked out" tails .When you juctapose a standard Jaguar and high end luxury Daimler/VDP you can easily see how outstanding looks thatdarked taillights
I have no any idea why X300 and till present models haven't used that cool darkened tails .At least they look far better than euro style tails which is very jap

Hey no problem! Keep in mind whatever anybody says it is still your car, don't take anything we say seriously or personally we all have different views on what to do! Jason thinks that subs aren't necessary but I disagree with that quite a bit...just different views and the funny thing is he's younger than I am!!!

 

Its nice to have but a waste of money my opinion.

 

Thats actually one of the things that made me want to put them on, Jason. You can get an entire kit of underbody LED lights for about $80 and a nice neon kit for $240. Back when they were much more popular the price was way higher. I think they're priced pretty fairly now.

 

underbody LED's look niceon some cars but for others (like Jaguar) your better off without it. Although I cant say im not a bit curious how it will come out ... But I wouldnt do it if I were you, unless you really want to kill some cash and time for the sake of experimenting.

Better than chrome!!! Besides he can rarely use it! Not like you can drive with them...I'm curious what it would look like...They don't always look ugly it may look dumb but I sure would like to see...

Lol.....don't you remember?There was a guy who ripped his interior dash etc out and replaced with " chequer plate " You know the stuff on the floor of forklifts and loading bays etc
