Hello.

New member here. I recently bought an x type 2.0 diesel 2004. The 2 fobs I was given are rather odd.. All of the buttons work on both fobs, except 1 will unlock (but not lock). And the other does the reverse.

Any ideas ?

Probably worn out buttons. I bought a repair kit on eBay to replace the front rubber panel and the 4 small PCB buttons. Fiddly work, but doable. At first I opened it up and cleaned the buttons with contact cleaner and it works, but replacing the internal switches is a better repair.
