Hi all,
I have a small problem with the key fob, I can unlock the doors with the fob , but I cannot lock it with the fob I have to use the key? I have changed the battery but its still the same. I did notice a few months back that the door "open" light was on, and the interior light was illuminated but when I checked there was nothing wrong all the doors including the boot were closed, this went on for a few weeks but has now stopped, but I still have the same problem. Can anyone help me out here or is it an Electricians job?

Fingazfobz is probably the most used from the UK Forum, maybe contact him first before sending in case the door open light on means it won't be the fob

Could be a stuck lock in one (or more) of the doors. Watch the buttons on the doors inside when you try and lock it to see if one of the buttons won't move in or out. If you see one that is stuck try moving it in and out a number of times to help loosen it up. Also lubricate the mechanism in the door by the door post. I had a button on a door I didn't use much that seemed to stick a bit, probably from not using it enough.

watched the buttons has you sugested but its still the same, strange that it unlocks with the fob but wont lock with it, still its not a major problem but I would like to fix it, I will give Fingasfobz a buzz

When you press the button to lock it deos the door make a noise like it is trying to lock, but just the locking mechanism just doesn't move? Or is it more you press the button to lock and you hear nothing at all? If it is the former, probably a mecahnical issue in teh door I would think.

 

Hi, when I press the button to lock the door there is absolutly nothing, I have to use the key, when I press the boot button it opens, when I lock with the key all doors lock and the alarm is activated, when I press the button to unlock it unlocks I just cannot lock with the fob.
