Default 18s or 20s?

Hey guys im debating between getting 18s or 20s for my 02 x type. I prefer the look of 20s but i dont wanna hv problems with them being too big.does anyone out there with 20s on an x type hv problems rubbing either in the front or in the back?

18s and 20s will both work. I've had 3 sets of 20s and 6 sets of 18s on my X-type. Assuming you do not want to roll your fenders or modify your car in any way, look for maximum 8 inch width and 40-50mm offset. Do not get tires bigger than 225/30/20 or 225/40/18, and you will be fine. I actually think 19s are the best balance for size if you are worried about rubbing, ride comfort, etc.

Here is a link to my build thread http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ghlight=jaguar where you can see a bunch of different sized wheels on an X-Type.

IMO, 19's are the best of both worlds looks & function.
