Default 1st road trip

After owning my 07 X Type for 4 yrs, I went on a long road trip. 2700 mile round trip to Oklahoma. Averaged 25.8 mpg (my wife averaged 25.6 in her PT Cruiser non turbo). Best was 28.7,worst 24.1. This was interstate driving @ 65-80 mph. Very hot in the midwest. Only problem was a drivers door not locking (I will troubleshoot this week)
Very pleased with the car's performance and lack of any real problems.

BTW only spotted 2 other Jags-- an XK8 & XJS the entire drive.

Default A Positive X-Type Posting Finally Thank You

I really enjoy my X-Type and at times get frustrated to see the many negative comments about the X-Type. Glad that you hand an uneventful trip. On the highway I can achieve up to 29 MPG in my '03 2.5. Thanks for sharing your experience.
