Default 2.1L injectors compared with 2.5/3.0 injectors

Does the 2.1 L motor have the same fuel injectors as the larger motors? I noticed that the part numbers are slightly different. I recently found that my intake manifold gaskets (upper and lower) are different. Thanks for any responses.

Yorta2, I would suspect that the 2.1L fuel injectors are a slightly smaller flow rate injector to match the engine. So, putting a 2.5/3.0L fuel injector in its place is not going to be good as you will have 1 cylinder running rich and the other 3 running normally. If you did say all 4, the car may be able to compensate for this, but no guarantees on that.

Thanks, Thermo. The 2.1L petrol is a 6 cylinder motor, but your advice might be of help. I was mainly (and poorly) asking to ascertain if the O rings on the injectors would be the same size. I think I have just sourced a set of O rings for the 2.1 motor, so I might be able to get by now. Thanks again for your time.
