Default 2 windows not completely sealing closed at top.

Hello guys. I noticed a little water droplets on the inside of my rear passenger window and front drivers window when washing the car. It seems like it’s not sealing all the way to the top. Just a little open still on the weatherstripping but with hose water pressure it gets a few drops inside. I also noticed if push the window up when fully closed. That it does go up a little more. The rear window slides down slightly when I do this. But the drivers window seems to stay up fully closed and sealed. Any help is greatly appreciated

I know that there is a "learning"-procedure for the windows. I hope that's it:To reset the window learning procedure on a Jaguar X-Type, you must reprogram the "auto-trap" and "global closing" features by manually operating each window switch. Hold the window button down until the window opens fully, then continue holding for a further 2 to 5 seconds until you hear a faint "click."

Repeat this process for the closing direction as well: fully close the window, release the button, then pull it up to trigger the auto-close function and hold it for another 2 to 5 seconds until the click is heard.
  • Battery Disconnection: This procedure is mandatory after a battery change or power interruption.
  • Global Closing: Once reset, pressing and holding the lock button on the key fob for 1.5 seconds will close all windows automatically.
