Default 2001 jaguar x type 2.5 v6 help help help!

Hi guys I need help my jaguar is driving me crazy won't rev past 3000 rpm has a misfire and my front catalytic convertor gets that hot it glows red after only 20 mins of driving I have replaced water pump thermostat spark plugs battery both front lamda sensors all brand new I took it to farmers auto care today for a diagnosis and they gave me a sheet with 11 code faults on it .
C1924: power steering solenoid actuator short circuit to ground.
B1318:battery voltage low.
C1922: power steering solenoid actuator circuit open.
P0333 knock sensor 2 circuit high bank 2.
P1647: refer to service manual
C1147:wheel speed front right input circuit fail.
P1647:heated oxygen sensor control module bank open/shorted.
P1146:general c line low input
P1260:security input
P1582:flight recorder data is stored
P1629:generator front right line fail.
Any help on these issues would be great . The car had a over heating problem when I bought it due to thermostat being knackered and expansion tank was leaking water every where don't no if that's maybe the problem that water has got in to a circuit or connector ? .

I've moved your question from UK & EIRE Region to X-Type forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

Perhaps the most significant code is that related to battery voltage. The X-Type is sensitive to low battery voltage, I suggest charging the battery fully and trying again, or maybe even fit a new battery. Also worth getting your own code reader, they only cost about the same as getting somebody to read the codes jsut the once.

Default red cat

Aaron, The reason cats get red hot is The fuel system is dumping excess raw gas into the converter Either by a sticky injector or The injector is staying open to long(pulse width is to great). A vacuum leak will cause the computer to think it needs more fuel due to unmetered air increasing the open time of the injectors(called pulse with). If this condition exists to long it will make your catalytic converter inefficient and cause numerous error codes and driving problems. SO long story short check for vacuum leaks first, it's easy and inexpensive before throwing parts at a problem. Check for a P0174 or P0175 codes. PS If you smell a hot catalytic converter be careful where you park like over grass, or any combustible material.
