so battery was dead …
opened door with key - fitted new battery and fired cat …. Started then silence ….

now only cranks but won’t fire !

so ….. red light center console - by coin holder …. Not flashing as used too, now on permanently- not flashing just on and red ….

Cat won’t start ….

15 amp fuse - horn keeps blowing too -

keys - both turn to crank and unlock / lock doors - but car won’t fire -

please help if you have any information at all as I’m a bit exhausted .

fuel pump ? Under back seat ….

Car is in v good condition, 34k miles
manuel gear box - looks like a silver cat and I need her back in my life !

DeadCats77, from the sounds of things, you have a problem with your instrument cluster. having the red light on in the center console is telling me that you have a security issue and the car is not seeing/recognizing the keys to the car. This is normally because of either a bad instrument cluster or a bad pick up ring around the ignition switch.
