Default 2002 cylinder 6 mis fire.

I just got my 2002 x- type. I'm getting a misfire on 6. Please help.

Did you check the condition of the plug?

Check the plug. If that looks ok you could have a bad coil. Let us know.

I just checked the number 6 plug. It has oil all on it. Blown head gasket???? I so hope not.

Could be a leak from the spark plug boss seal. I had the same issue recently and replaced the seal, no more oil leak.

I would have to agree that it's the oil plug seal. They're not hard to replace, plus it's a cheap fix.
