How can I tell if the 2002 3.0 is an all wheel drive or a 2 wheel drive?????

There is nothing on the title I have.

All 2.5L and all 3.0L X Types in NAS were AWD..... I don't believe the 2.1 ever made it to NAS market

 

new Mexico, if you have one in the US, then you have an AWD vehicle. To the best of my knowledge, all X-Types sent to north america were AWD vehicles.

If you are still in doubt, you can simply look under the car. If you see a CV shaft attached to all 4 wheels, then that proves the car is AWD. If you climb under the car, you can find the end of the tranny and near the center of the car, you will see where the rear drive shaft and front 2 half shafts come off. If you don't have a rear drive shaft, then you have a 2wd car.

 

Just curious why you are first asking now after having the car a few years?
