I just replaced the front lower arms and ball joints and sway bar links on my 2002 x-type, two new front struts and strut mounts, two new front tires, balanced tires and aligned all four wheels, but now I hear the entire suspension on every small bump. The car runs smooth, I'm just hearing everything. Does it take a while for all of that to break in, and if so, how long? I've double checked that everything was tightened to recommended torques.

how miles do you have on the springs

 

Found out the problem last night. My bad.....I did not tighten down the strut piston rods tight enough when I had them back in the car. Tightened down and no more noise!
