Default 2002 X-Type engine removal?

Multiple things wrong with the car and its so tight under the hood I figure pull it out once and fix everything. Anyone have tips on taking the engine+tranny out that's had psychical experience? Any response appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. Have a look in the x-Type FAQ and you will find a couple removal threads. Here is one: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ead-faq-11225/

Good luck!

The thread 91stealth suggests is an engine removed thru the BOTTOM of the engine compartment:

This thread shows an engine removed thru the TOP:

Moral of the story: There's more than one way to skin our cats!

So read numerous posts and ask questions to decide what's best for your cat. You'll find the folks here eager to share their Jag expertise.
