I have a 2003 2.5 Jaguar X-Type that I just bought and at first all seemed ok, but really hadn't drove it much. Bought it with some minor front damage and once it was fixed car now shows an engine light (no lights of any kind where on prior to this) with Code P0763-Shift Solenoid C Circuit Electrical and when you start to pull out from a dead stop it is really slow and doesn't seem to want to go at all, but once you get it going it does just fine, until you have to stop again. I immediately pulled it into the garage and pulled the fill plug to see if any transmission fluid was coming out, cause it seemed to me it might have been low. Just the opposite, it had about a quart come out before it stopped. Removed battery cable tried resetting the codes with code reader and it is still doing the same thing. Has anyone had this issue and what is needing to be done to fix?
