Hello all!

I had an issue a couple of weeks ago where when I went to start the car, I got some scrubbing noise from the instrument cluster and an error message "gear box error" The car would not start nor shift out of gear. Furthermore, the head unit was dead. I searched online and found some quick resolutions for the gear box error (hitting the reset in the passenger legwell, unhooking the battery, and rocking the car back and forth) all without success. Eventually, I had the car towed about 500 ft to a service station. The next day they called and said the battery was only producing about 7V. The battery was replaced and the fault cleared, which fixed the no start issue. Now here is my issue. The head unit is still dead. I am hoping this is a quick fix, does anyone have any idea what to look for past the obvious like check the fuses????
