Default 2004 x type 2.5L (manual) oxygen sensor

Buying parts for my x type to fix a check engine light issue.

1.Trying to buy the oxygen sensor online but don’t want onend up buying the wrong one. Shop I went to said I need to switch o2 sensor (B2S1).

2. My emergency brake seizes up and won’t hold the car on certain hills. Called jag and said i have to buy caliper housing which is $800 dollars, I look up online and can find the caliper bracket for much cheaper. What is the difference? Planning on replacing brakes and rotors as well.

any help would be much appreciated .

1. This sensor is Bank 2 Sensor 1 ( B2S1 ). This will be the side of the engine facing the radiator, and will the sensor at the top.

2. Brake caliper housing is not the same as brake caliper bracket.

This is the caliper itself, this will be what they are quoting, as these have been a common issue with seizing.

The arrows are pointing to the brake pads, the bracket the pads are sitting in are the Caliper Bracket, or as Topix says, Brake Caliper Anchor Plate.

Thanks for the quick reply man. I’m trying to buy parts online and want to make sure I don’t get the wrong parts. What does it mean when it comes down to upstream and downstream on the oxygen sensor? So to fix my e-brake problem..I would have to buy the caliper housing, not the bracket, right?Last two questions, what would a “three way hose” be? he referred to coolant . And what is the serpentine belt?
