The passenger door wouldn't open and appears to be locked shut. Won't open from the outside or the inside. The car central locking works, and yet the door lock still doesn't appear to shut when the central locking is used, though the three other doors lock and unlock.

You will need to remove the door card cover and manually release the door from the inside at the mechanism. Once open you will need to determine the problem with the lock assembly and affect repairs. First step getting it open. Got to the sticky "how to" and the last item listed is the Workshop Manual if PDF that you can for guidance.

 

Try squirting a decent amount of WD40 or other lube into the lock if you can first they have a habit of sticking
