hi im new to this site, but i wonder if anyone can shed some light on a couple of things like i brought a 2001 3.0l x type for 500 because the owner developed a knocking noise once i got it home i done a complete check on the engine and isolated the noise to the valves above the first cylinder on the rear bank (timing chain side) the cars only done 79000 miles from new got the service book to prove that and apart from that i know it needs a new gasket set as the previous own run it without any oil. The other thing is does anyone know the difference between the s-type 3.0l v6 and the x-type 3.0l v6 because ebay sell the s type gasket set for around 180 but not the x type
