Hi all just noticed this morning that the vents on the dash were not closing they are remaining in the open position when the engine is switched off.
Has anyone experienced this problem before and is there a cure.

We lowly souls in X Types always have to make do with manually operated air vents. You servo-motored upmarket XF owners tend to look after each other in the XF section of the Forum! You need a friendly Moderator to transfer you there!

 

This is what happens when you trade in your beloved X Type 2.0ltr Sport for an XF the brain still is drawn towards that car.
Like a dipstick I mistakenly posted this in the X Type section so forgive me.
However I have rectified the problem and they are working.
I had been taking my oldest son to the races and he was fiddling with the touch screen controls and switched the programme from auto to always open so now they are working correctly again.
So from one ex X Type owner to another it was a very nice motor never to be forgotten.
