I found a type 2003 I think that has a lost key. CN I but an ignition set (key and ignition) and swap it out to fix it?

 

To swap it out you need the computer, The ign switch and the speedo Cluster. It all works together.

Call around to locksmiths in your area. The good ones will be able to cut you a new key, and will have the whole remote set up. I got my spare key and remote for less than half of the $508 that the ******* wanted to charge me. The parts guy sent me to this guy. Jaguar changes it's codes every 90 seconds, so you will need to find someone with the right equipment, or are satisfied with using just the key for the doors......Good Luck....Mike
