Ever since i got my car the Cd changer hasnt been working.
what can be wrong?
its in the trunk, its a sony.
I slide the thing open but the internal part that u put the discs doesnt come out?
help please

 

does it make a noise when you try to eject the cartridge? is there a cartridge in the changer???

 

nope not even a sound

 

this may be a dumb question, but have your pressed the eject button?

then i press the button that says "push"
nothing happens
i checked the power cable its plugged in
prolly broken huh

 

could be a fuse

by changing it... i am not sure which one it is but i can look into it. unless someone else knows.

I had the same problem....

do exactly what i tell u

punch on top of the cd changer with ur fist(pound). it should losin the locking mechanizm and it should come out.

ok i had someone look at the cd changer
and it needs to be replaced
i was wondering since the cd changer connects to a remote near the steering wheel
do i need to replace with the same model cd changer?
because the one it came with doesnt read mp3s
