There are wonderful guides of how to fix a broken Jaguar XJ8 ABS control module (re-soldering the 2 power points), with great pictures.
I searched, but found nowhere a picture showing an open X-Type ABS control module - I am talking about opening that cover-lid, which supposedly cannot be opened (but it can...):

My 2.5L X-Type has the ABS control module, where the connector is oriented as seen above.


The side of the ABS control module, which attaches to the ABS pump, looks like the picture above.

The question:
Has anyone ever opened the OTHER side of the ABS control module and can show me a picture of what it looks like under the lid on the other side?

Sorry, I just realized that I probably asked the wrong question...: The basic design of the XJ8 and the X-Type ABS module are different...
The pictures above of the X-Type module are from the internet.
The picture above showing the open module would be the side that attaches to the ABS pump - but there is no lid on the other side, which can be opened. (That is different on the XJ8 module).
Hence, I can only assume that at the very best it might be possible to pull those elements, which are visible in the open module, out.
Does anyone know anything about that?
