abs control module help
replaced abs control modual on my 1998 xk8. i'm getting a reading{ wrong part fitted},but replaced it with a part that has the same part numbers. need help.

The replacement control module needs to be configured to your car.
You need to find someone with a PDU or WDS Autologic etc.
When a new module is introduced on a NETWORK you often need to tell the other modules about the new unit.
Some modules are 'plug&play', some are not.

A common cause is bending a pin on the connector, unplug it and check.
