ABS light

Default ABS light

ABS light just went on. does any one know the major causes why this light will come on? XType 02 3.0

I don't know we need codes or a visual inspection . It could be from bad sensors or other things .The worst case scenario is ABS module

Has the engine light come on with it? I would have a look at the reluctor rings on the rear CV joints. The joints corrode and expand and the ring cracks. They are easily checked by taking off the wheel and looking through the hole in the top of the hub carrier. If it is broken or missing then a new CV joint will cure it or the rings are available seperately on UK ebay for £15 delivered.

When the ABS light came on for me it was a bad wheel speed sensor.
