Default ACM acted up this morning.

I left the house this morning and turned on the ACM radio and had static. I unplugged my iPod reset it back in and... Static. The CD and radio were working fine. So I figured next weekend I'm taking it apart looking for the loose connection in the fiber optic line.
Well, I arrived at the parking lot and tried resetting the car. Yup, that fixed it. Just turned it off for a few seconds.
Sigh! I miss the days when cars were mechanical.

You're talking about the reset button on the piece with the Aux jack/CDC toggle switch right?

I haven't had that issue with mine yet and I know we both installed them around the same time. The only problem I've had was when I had my iPhone 4; the dock connector on the phone was fairly worn out and would often disconnect from the ACM's 30-pin cable when I went over bumps. That issue is gone now with the 5 and my new dock adapter contraption.

When I say reset I meant I shut the car off, counted to ten, and turned the ignition on again.
I also had the problem with the iPod plug coming apart! I took my time with crazy glue and put it back together.

That's weird, I've never had that happen before.

I did end up accidentally shutting the iPod connector in the edge of the center console and ruining it. I wound up finding a replacement cable fairly easily by just entering the code on that white sticker attached to it into Google. It came up with results right away, but I had to buy it from German eBay lol. I won't make that mistake again
