Something strange happened this morning when the yellow light on the speedo came on and the "Check Gas Cap" message started being displayed.
Stopped to tighten the cap but light/message stayed on. Filled up the tank, which had been at about the 1/3 level, but the light/message stayed on.

It's been a couple of weeks since I got gas the last time but the warning just showed up this morning.

Anybody got an idea?

Might need to replace the gas cap or the gasket. I have had to replace a gas cap before as the emissions check pulls a vacuum on it and it must hold.
