So today woke up at 6am and went to work on changing the large top radiator hose that comes with the thermostat, as well as the water pump.

On our way to the shop . Two bolts on the waterpump snapped of, one bolt is stuck half way out. Not drivable. The top hose fixture I managed but barely. Barely. This is the second time home repairs have ended up in this. Never with my other Jaguars.

I don't think the X likes me touching her

Thanks Dennis. My mechanic had tried everything to remove the bolts and he can't. We are looking at a used housing at this point...... This is going to set me back over 6 hundred at this point, so how do you suggest We remove them ?

 

Well , 500.00 later I am back on the road.

I will be very careful next time I choose to dig into this car.
