My CD is not working correctly and I am thinking of putting in an after market Audio system in my 2004 x-type. Crutchfield has a complete kit. They even give full instruction on installation. The kit does a bypass of the amp and wires directly to the speakers on the output side of the amp. All this for around $350. Bluetooth and Iphone sported.
