Arrow Aftermarket TPMS

Howdy,
My 2004 X-Type LE Sports has 18" BBS Alloys - with concealed valves.

In order to measure tyre pressure, one has too unscrew the valve plug, screw in the special valve stem - then gauge the tyre pressure. Of course this has to be done on all 4 wheels. This is all very well from a security point of view .... but can be a bothersome task if you want to assess the tyre pressure on a weekly basis.

A wireless TPSM would seem to be a solution to this problem !

Has anyone here fitted an aftermarket system to their X-type?

Any advice on prospective TPMS candidates and where such can be obtained from (to suit the above) would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance....

I read, on this forum or the other one, that the very last X-Types had the option of a TPMS...looking in the JEPC I can see it;

TPMS Module C2S46904
Bracket C2S46906
Bracket C2S46944
Tyre Pressure Initiator C2C24208
Tyre Pressure Sensor C2Z15017 x4?
Tyre Valve Kit C2C28472 x4?
Antenna C2S46943

I have no idea if this OEM kit connects into the message center on the dash, but I think so. It was an option on the S-Type, XJ & maybe the XK as well.

There are plenty of aftermarket kits available, but of course they all have a separate display.

Here's another one to add to my to-do list.........

Hi Cambo,
Many thanks for your interest and the valued contribution. (Jaguar research)

I was thinking more of the Aftermarket solution.... having no issues with a smallish independent LED/LCD display. (which can be installed in many places)

If I could get a short list of 3rd party reliable solutions from Users here (if any) I could have a look at them.

Cheers
