Docko, because of the car that you have, there is no replacing a "globe". The light is LED. So, you would have to remove the face of the panel, access the area behind the switch and then solder in a new LED in its place, ensuring all the correct specs are obtained for the new LED. Option 2 is to buy a used/refurbed control panel and put that in.

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X-Type forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

Docko, removing the A/C panel isn't hard. Then, if you look around the edge, you will see some clips, carefully pull those tabs off and the face should pop off. Now, for soldering, this is not going to be your run of the mill solder job. These are SMD LEDs as I remember. So, you are going to find them a bit of a challenge to solder unless you do a lot with electronics. Along the same lines, just because the SMD LED looks the same, it can have very different characteristics. So, you need to find the part number on the LED and make sure you match it exactly. You may get lucky and you just need to update/resolder one of the tabs to the SMD LED and that will fix everything (cracked solder joints are not unheard of). Please, keep in mind that I am assuming you have the separate A/C panel and radio setup. If you have the NAV radio, then we are talking a completely different thing then.
