Default almost stalls... maybe.

some weird thing has been going on with my car for some time now (6-8 months) when i come to a stop light or stop sign the car will feel like it is going to stall. the RPM's drop from idle (700 or so) to about 500 RPM's real quick then back up again. It does not happen all the time. I took it to the dealer 2 times for the problem but they said they never could duplicate the same thing and they read no codes that showed anything wrong. What could be wrong?

jvegas, I would be looking at the idle air control valve. It may have a little bit of gunk in it and it take a little bit to get it to free up as the engine RPM drops. Should be able to simply spray a little bit of carb cleaner into it to clean out the gunk.

jvegas, I can't find it in my JTIS CD. I would atleast look at the throttle body and give it a quick wipe down. It could be that there is a bit of buildup inside the throttlebody and is the cause for the sticking. I will keep looking.
