Unhappy Alternator Issues?

So I need some help because there is something I'm missing here and I want to figure it out. I have a 2006 Jaguar X-Type AWD and I have had to replace my alternator twice in the last year and now its a third time, my car started showing sings of the starter going bad so I replaced the starter but now my car is showing the symptoms of the alternator going again and by that I mean the cars electronics wont even start up no lights turn on as if there is no battery, could it be my battery? or is it the alternator and if it is why is it burning out so quickly there is something I'm not getting and I could use some wisdom.

Are you buying Jaguar alternators? Not "cheaper compatible" ones?

You should start by checking your battery cables. If you have a charger, charge the battery, start the car, turn on all possible accessories and see if one of the cables gets hot.

Your battery should be replaced if it is over 4 years old, and as has been suggested, the battery cables could be at fault (or the battery connections). If the connector on either the negative or positive cable is very hot (that is, significantly hotter than the other one) the cable should be replaced. This is a fairly common issue.
Repeated failure of new Jaguar alternators is very unlikely...if you had said that they were rebuilt Bosch units, that would be a different matter. They fail quite frequently, sometimes "out of the box"...but not the OEM alternators.

Agree with above, with a non jag, symptoms suggest Alternator replacement, on a jag, probably cables or battery at fault.
