Not a complaint really, hoses are not supposed to last forever.
It is however always difficult to track it down in this car for some reason. I have spend two hours looking all over with no luck. I can smell it and my coolant level slowly goes down, but no luck so far. I have no smoke from the engine, which tells me its a small leak.
I think the area where the thermostat is located **may** be a little wet, not too sure....is this a common leak area?
Well it's definately from the "t" section of that fixture. I read some posts where it was just the O ring, but I going to go ahead and order the entire hose just to be safe.
Anyone know if I will need any gaskets or o rings in addition to the fixture?
Spike, yes, there is 1 other gasket that you will need. It is Jaguar part number C2S11282. May I recommend you get your hands on a deep well 13mm socket and a flexible joint. The upper bolt where the T-piece mounts to the motor can be a bit of a PITA. I just had mine out this weekend from where the gasket to the block was leaking a little bit.
The round gasket in the T-Section (underneath the c-clip) can be had at your local auto parts store (that is where I got mine, they just matched it up).

Thanks Chris;
So all I need is the C2S11282, right? The round gasket would be necessary if i wasn't replacing the whole thing...?
Spike, you are correct. One thing I probably didn't mention, but take this from someone that learned the hard way. Get yourself a scotch-brite pad (kelly green is probably best for this application due to being the medium grade abrasiveness) and when you remove the thermostat housing, clean up the surface on the block. If you happen to leave a little something on that surface, you may find yourself going back in and fixing a leak later an no amount of tightening is going to make the leak stop.
If you need me to go into more detail, just say so.

Ok, thanks for the information. I should be able to complete this myself.
Spike, let me just suggest another possibility from my recent experience. I just went through the same thing with my 04 Wagon. I replaced the thermostat and hoses as in the picture, but this did not solve the entire problem. Later I discovered a hairline crack in the coolant reservoir bottle. It was in the bottom of the bottle near the firewall (nearly invisible), and only leaked when the engine was hot and the cooling system under a little pressure. The leak was so slow that it did not show up lower in the engine bay nor on the ground under the car. I replaced the bottle, and have had no further problem. It's running strong. Good luck.
So I ordered the hose fixture, the gasket, and a an OEM water pump gasket for my new non OEM water pump that I ordered a while back. Anything else I need or should replace while I am there?
I looked at the archives and it does look like this is a common leak area.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the original part is available online for only 100.00, delivered.
Question, if I replace this entire fixture do I need any additional o rings or gaskets?
Spike, where did you order that from and what did you do about the round gasket? Anyone have part numbers for both? Mt T is leaking, it has a split right down the middle.
RX-7, I pulled the o-ring out of my car and took it up to the local auto parts place and they had one on the shelf. Took the guy a few minutes to find the o-ring, but they had it.
Some of the part numbers that you may want to cross-reference are:
NCA2269CA
Fel-Pro 35742
Fel-Pro 35489
I will admit, the Fel-Pro 35489 is going to be more of a traditional o-ring where the one you pull out is going to be a flat ribbon with various **** on it. But, it will seal up just fine.
I got it on eBay from a jaguar dealer that sells there. Just type in part number C2S43430. It came with everything needed to change the hose.
I changed the whole fixture instead of just the o rings because I came across a couple of posts where people changed the o rings only to have the hose leak shortly after....that being said, this is how my attempt to change the hose ended:
..a trip to the shop on a flatbed. Granted, the problem was I also tried to change the water pump and bolts broke, but I would not try it again. Its a pain.
