Oooooh, I do not recall seeing this option from Adamesh before.

Anyone have any experience with this set up?

I've asked Adamesh and someone in the UK, that has purchased this set-up, for a sound clip if they can.

I think that is a Borla setup.

Negative, I had the Borla system on my 2002, it had mufflers close to the size of the stock stuff. these look like maganflow 'bullet'-style mufflers. Probably less resonant, which is a good thing....also, 'lighter' is ALWAYS better

Those look great, both the style and likely weight reduction. I looked at my stock mufflers and they are pretty beefy. They even look heavy! LOL

JaggyX, how do the Magnaflows sound? I wonder if the 2.5L sounds much diff. than the 3.0L. ....Maybe not as deep a sound.???

I had MagnaFlows on my 99 Cadillac Eldorado with the 4.6L Northstar and it sounded great. Just enough grumble, not much increase in cabin noise. Actually the sound improved after I had them a few months. They sounded kind of tinny (tin-ee) when I first got them, then with time they got a deeper grumble. Carbon build up in the nooks and crannies maybe? who knows?

Anyway, totally diff type of machine, but the MagnaFlows proved a good choice for that car.

Indeed they are heavy. I love the magnaflow mufflers! I get a really good growl from the engine and a low deep exhaust note at the lower RPM's and it gets higher in pitch and even a little raspy towards redline. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose magnaflow.

JaggyX, what are you using for a resonator? Just wondering if you used the stock res and just did an axle-back exhaust.

Jaggy X, Do you know the part number for your MagnaFlows?

I got a quote MagnaFlows installed, out the door: $265.00

It's probably a good price, but I thought about buying them on Amazon and then taking them to a shop to have them installed.

Thanks
