Yep, the X Type is gone... She will be sorely missed (sometimes). I will probably still check in to this forum once in a while, mostly to see what wheels Jeremy has decided to stuff under his Jag. Stay cool dudes, and remember: if you're in doubt as to whether your car is low enough, it isn't. Lower it some more.

That is now two recent people jumping ship for a Z car (Quinton also). When I was into Volvos, everyone left for Subaru and BMW. Coincidence? Perhaps.

I'll miss you as someone who understood me and my car ethic, but I will try to look you up again next time I am in Vegas. Keep in touch, Allen.

 

Thanks fellas... Like I said, I'll probably still lurk around here from time to time. I went back and forth on a list of about 10 different cars that could have replaced the Jag. When it came down to it, the Z is just by far the best value you can get for the price. I went and drove a brand new Cayman S which cost nearly double, and I'm afraid I have to agree with the Jeremy Clarksons of the world... It was a fantastic car but just felt too clinical and cold. No soul or character whatsoever. Mustang GT was cool but too gargantuan. Camaro SS was hopelessly bad. BMW 1series M was amazing but ugly... And so on. I love the Z so so much though.
