Default Any reference pics for me???

Hey guys,

The front door panels on my X-type seem to have been abused by the previous owner and there is a tab that has been broken so the panel no longer fits up against the door and instead flops around a bit.

I would like to rebuild this tab but have no reference of what it looked like originally as the same one is broken on both sides. I have not removed the panel yet but would like to know before I get around to doing it.

Anyone have a pic of their door panel I can use?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Jac, thanks for the reply. I assume the tab that those clips slot into is also broken as per the first pic? do they just slide into that area where the tab is?

Not sure, never replaced them yet. I'm sure once the door panel is removed it will be easy to figure out. Maybe someone else on here can help you with that. Lots of knowledge on this forum.

Do you need to go into the door ? If not I suggest a line of masking tape down edge of foot card and another down edge of where card fits , then a thin run of clear silicone to hold the card in place, hold in situ until the silicone sets then remove the masking tape to reveal a clean join held firmly in place .
