Default Any tricks for removing the Y-pipe?

I am currently in the process of removing the transfer case and have already hit a small snag. The long mid-pipe was fairly easy to remove, but I can not seem to find a good way to get a wrench on the band clamp securing the down-pipe to the rear manifold.

Does anybody have any advise, or should I just cut the clamp off?

Thanks!
-Nathan

Nate, if you have the tools, save yourself a lot of grief and just cut it off. A new clamp is cheap and you will probably be more than willing to spend the $5 on a clamp than cussing for an hour trying to get at that band to remove it.
