Default Anyone dealt with this US company?

Im looking to buy a lower stainless mesh bumper grill from Mina Gallery for my XJ as theyve offered me one for cheap£ shipping to UK which is cheaper than their ebay site.
Also at their main lower grille site.
I thought I had read about others using them for parts and accessories a while back for their X Types but couldnt remember if they'd had good comments or not?
So, has anyone used them?

I've had no problems with them at all Buck. I bought black upper and lower mesh grilles and valve stem caps for my x-type sport from them with no poblems at all. Some haven't been as fortunate, slow shipping and other problems. I recently found a seller on eBay who has better quality and about $20 cheaper valve stem caps. The mina ones are a really thin cut and brittle aluminum. The mesh grilles from mina are awesome though, not cheap and flimsy like some sellers on eBay. All was bought straight from their site and not from their eBay store. Pretty smooth checkout too.

Hey Buck, haven't dealt with them personally, but as FTL says, I've seen lots of members that have reported dealings with them and many satisfied customers. Heard a few complaints here n there about slow shipping but mainly good things.
In fact I'm sure there was a mesh grille thread a week or so ago where someone was raving about their Mina gallery grille...

I (and a few others) were the ones raving about the Mina Gallery grille. If you use the search function, you can probably find the thread (with pictures). I had a great experience with my order, but I've read of others who've experienced shipping delays.

Thanks for the info.I put the shipping delays to them and they said they had addressed the problem by using a different shipping company.
I ordered the grille and had an email with a tracking number showing it had been scanned at the P.O. soon afterwards meaning it is enroute...they reckon 7-10 days to UK so should have it before driving to the holiday cottage we have rented in France in a couple of weeks fingers crossed.

I ordered a set of Borlas from them and although I got them eventually it took about six weeks. They were very evasive about giving me a tracking number and then after a while said it got shipped to the wrong address. Took another 2 1/2 weeks after that. The way the whole thing went down made me skeptical of how they operate. But like I said, I got them and they are great. Hope you have a good experience, Buck. Let us know if it arrives on schedule. Just curious to see if they come through for you. Good luck with your new ride. It looks awesome.

I hope the fit and finish of their grilles is better than those of Jaguar XP. Neither myself nor my mechanic could ever get the JaguarXP lower grill to properly fit, and I had to Dremel the edges of the upper mesh grill to fit it in the cutout. Lower continues to be held in by chicken wire to this date.

Let us know the results of your installation.

The new lower mesh grille looks really good Buck. Id been debating about ordering one for my X from them, so I think Ill get that done next week.

Was the fitting difficult?

The fitting on mine took under 15 mins
Not sure about the X Type as the old horizontal vane may be riveted on which would make the fitting longer.

On my X Type I just went for the upper 09 grill which are reasonably priced and it was a lot more money for the new bumper and didnt think it was justified given the fresh 09 look with the upper grill only

BUCK YOUR CAR LOOKS AMAZING! This is the exact set-up ive been wanting to do. XJ SWB with 20" polished (yours might be the painted variety, I cant tell that easily) Callistos. In the states they are next to impossible to find at a reasonable cost though!

Quartz with a light dove gray or ivory leather is one of my, if not the top source.

Have you thought about the Chrome Mirror Caps? The wheels and chrome caps were all i planned to do to the outside as well as 1 other thing to finish it off.

Thanks for the thumbs up
My wheels are painted as I insisted the garage I bought it from refurbed them.Kerbed one at a Peage in France the other week though so I'll have to get the paint, sanding paper ,filler etc out of the garage to refurb it soon.Callisto's are on ebay but are pricey at nearly £1000 a set so not cheap. My ex X-Type was Quartz but this one is Lunar Grey (look very simialr).Dont fancy the chrome mirror caps but saying that I havent really seen them fitted.
Thinking of doing weddings on a weekend as the champagne would sit nicely in a bucket in the back and we have just been put onto short time at work....
