Quick Question,

I want to remove the overhead console in my car ( the one with the map lights, garage door openers etc) to mount the microphone from my bluetooth kit in the stock jag mic location. Anyone know how to remove it? I could probably figure it out but if anyone has definite instuctions they would be greatly appreciated.

Pop off the cover with a small screw driver. Then its just screws (maybe torx) to remove the assembly.

Jag provide two different mic options, there is one built in to the centre of the console, and there is one that sits on the headlining to the side of it. If you are mounting the former you'll need a screwdriver because part of the alarm sensor system sits over the top of the mounting position. If it is the latter is can be mounted with nothing other than a sharpened pencil.

OMG!! Lovin It!!! Just removed my overhead console with FAQ help. You guys and this forum in general are the BEST. Hopefully I can add some of my own to help out.
