Default Audio hook ups in center glove box?

Hi everyone, I have a 2006 X type. In the center glove box between the two front seats there are wires that look like they are for external audio hook ups? How can I connect my phone or I Pod to them? I have tried but the only thing that happens is that my phone charges. The radio does not seem to know my I Phone is connected. Do I need to see the dealer? Does the system need to be turned on or activated? Is it bluetooth?

If anyone know please tell me

Thanks again!

Tom (hawaiiboyy)

It looks like this?

If so, that's an ACM or Audio Connectivity Module.

It emulates the CD-changer, the instructions for use are here http://www.dension.com/jaguar/AM%209W93%2018C941AB.pdf

And more info available here Dension - Jaguar

Download the Denison software and your iPod can be controlled directly. Using the radio buttons restricts you to only the first 5 or 6 playlists.
