Can any of you fine people out there throw any light on this one ? Over the last few weeks if I turn the ignition key through stages 1,2 and start in a hurry ,occasionally the audio wont come on.(Alpine premier system).But if I switch the ignition off then switch it back on going through the 3 stages with a small 2 second gap between stages all audio works fine..It's as if the system needs a couple of seconds to accept the signal from the ignition . Any ideas ?

 

Sounds like your aftermarket radio is starting to go. Gratned, if you are thinking that it is something about the car itself, then I would be looking for other things not responding properly. If the radio is the only thing not playing nice, then odds are, it is the radio.
