Default Backup sensors reset??

My body shop took off the rear bumper cover to paint it now the rear sensors are not working. Is there some sort of reset that needs to be done? He took off the bumper cover againto check all the connections and everything is good. He also checked the fuses and they are fine too.

I took mine off when I installed the rear bumper skirt. Without a connection to the sensors, the car will beep for apx 5 seconds when you turn it on, so that's a sign the system is working, but at least one of the connection to the sensors is broken since it's a daisy chain.

Once I plugged them all in, it beeped again the first time I started the car, but immediately worked after that and stopped beeping.

If you're not hearing anything, the connection could be bad to the module next to the spare tire, so check that.

Well, tried to re-set the ECU pulling F32, no good. Also tried disconnecting the battery for five min, no good. My body guy called a friend of his who works at Jaguar in NJ. He told him he needs to put the car on the Jag scanner to re-enable the rear sensors.. So, he is going to bring it home and do it for me on Saturday. I have an ODBII scanner (as my body guy has as well) and that scanner will not do it.

So, we will see this weekend.

I Have had my sensors removed completely (I removed the lower valence with the 4 sensors) and when i put it back together, everything was fine.

I think you need to double check that each sensor is plugged in, and then remove the spare tire and make sure the module is plugged in.
the wires may have been pulled through the grommet to the trunk and damaged/unplugged something.

I dont think this needs dealer attention, it is a simple system.
If you did not start the car with them disconnected then yes, its fine. But, that's not the case here, my body shop started the car to move it with them disconnected and according to the Jag tech, if you start the car with them disconnected they get disabled.
